Soul to Soul

PIPE GALLERY는 9월 10일부터 10월 16일까지 Simon Ko(b.1988) 작가의 <Soul to Soul> 전시회를 개최한다.

평소 개인적 경험을 바탕으로 관계에 있어 따뜻하고 충만한 순간들을 시각화하는 것에 관심이 있는 Simon Ko 작가는 이번 전시에서 ‘친밀감’이라는 감정을 다양한 형태로 묘사한 작품을 선보인다. 작품 속 대상들은 친밀한 관계를 통해 경험하는 희망, 절망, 질투와 같은 다양한 감정을 구현한다.

“우리는 모두 자신의 미숙함과 따뜻함, 또 누군가를 사랑하려고 노력할 때 보여지는 조금은 어수선한 시도들이 받아들여질 수 있는 공간이 필요하다”고 한 Simon Ko 작가의 이번 전시에서는 우리 각자의 진정한 관계에 대한 관심과 그 관계를 유지할 때 종종 놓치기 쉬운 미묘하고 깊은 감정을 인식하게 하는 기회가 될 것이다.

PIPE GALLERY is holding an exhibition <Soul to Soul> by artist Simon Ko (b.1988) from September 10 to October 16.

Artist Simon Ko, who is interested in visualizing warm and fulfilling moments in relationships based on his personal experiences, presents works that depict the emotion of 'intimacy' in various forms. The subjects in his paintings embody a range of feelings experienced through intimate relationships, such as hope, despair, and jealousy.

“We all need a space where our immaturity, warmth, and the slightly clumsy attempts we show when we try to love someone can be accepted,” said Simon Ko. This exhibition will be an opportunity to recognize our interest in true relationships and the subtle and deep emotions that are often easy to miss when maintaining them.
